Senior Tax Professional - Pennsylvania Trust Company

Pennsylvania Trust Company, an independent and employee-owned wealth management firm headquartered in Radnor, Pennsylvania is looking to hire a Senior Tax Professional to join its Tax Department. This individual may also be considered for the position of Director of the Tax Department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Tax return preparation: individual federal, state and local income tax returns; state and federal fiduciary income tax returns; federal estate and applicable state or estate inheritance tax returns; Form 990 and 990-PF returns; Form 5227 split-interest trust returns.

  • Provide guidance and thought leadership on tax and wealth planning issues to clients and trust and investment professionals.

  • Meet with clients to prepare for and review tax filings and planning issues.

  • Manage Department professionals and budget, and interface with senior management on Department issues (as Director).

Job Requirements:

  • CPA, or equivalent experience.

  • Masters in Taxation, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial services, tax, or investment industries.

  • Enrolled Agent preferred, but not required.

  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Onesource and other trust/tax accounting systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide courteous and professional service to clients.

  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
