Professional Bio
Mr. Kern is Managing Director, Regional Director, and Senior Fiduciary Counsel at Bessemer Trust. In these roles, he is responsible for working with clients and their advisors to develop practical and efficient wealth transfer plans and for guiding the firm on fiduciary issues.
Prior to joining Bessemer, George served as Fiduciary Manager with
J.P. Morgan Trust Company of Delaware. Before that, he was a
practicing estates and trusts attorney in Pennsylvania and Delaware.
George is a fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and is a member of the Delaware Bar Association, where he serves on its Trust Act Drafting Committee and previously served as Chair of its Estates and Trust Section. George is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
