Professional Bio
With 20 years of professional experience in the art industry, Thomas B. McCabe IV is a SVP, Trusts, Estates and Private Clients at Freeman’s | Hindman in Philadelphia, PA where he has worked since 2009. Mr. McCabe is responsible for managing Trusts, Estates and projects with specific private client and making sure they utilize all the services our company has to offer including: various types of appraisals, selling at auction and guidance in other areas for tangible assets.
Over the the years at Freeman's | Hindman, Tom has worked with many estates and has helped executors and attorneys navigate the best way to handle each specific estate or collection in its entirety.
Mr. McCabe graduated from The Haverford School, Haverford, PA in 2000 and received a BA in 2004 from Trinity College, Hartford, CT where he majored in Art History and minored in Architecture. Following college, Mr. McCabe earned a Masters in Art Business from the Sotheby’s Institute in 2006. He is currently a Board member of The Lankenau Medical Foundation, and Peter's Place Center for Grieving. He is an active member of The Union League, The Philadelphia Club, The Merion Cricket Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club. Tom enjoys golf, tennis with the fam, fly fishing in the Poconos and watching his sons play ice hockey.
