Professional Bio
Michael has over 30 years of experience across the legal and wealth management industries having started his career as an attorney at large law firms in NYC and Philadelphia. After nearly 10 years in private practice, Michael transitioned into the trust and wealth management industry. Throughout his career, Michael has developed extensive expertise in creating and managing complex family and trust structures, investment portfolios and managing relationships for domestic and global families.
Michael serves on numerous professional association boards and is a Past Chair of the Society of Trust and Estate Planning Practitioners (STEP) Gold Coast Florida and currently serves on the STEP USA Board of Directors. He is also a Past President of the East Coast Estate Planning Council.
Michael earned his Juris Doctorate from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where he was an Editor on the International Law Journal. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Business from the State University of New York at Albany
Michael has his TEP (Trust and Estate Practitioner conferred by the Society of Trust and Estate Planning Practitioners) and AEP (Accredited Estate Planner conferred by the National Association of Estate Planning Councils) designations to show his commitment to continuing education, ethics and his belief in the multi-disciplinary approach towards estate planning.
Michael is admitted to the State Bars of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania (currently non-practicing status).
In his spare time, Mike enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, two sons and cockapoo. He is an avid tennis player and loves listening to a wide variety of music.
