We are in the midst of an economy in transition, with a decades-high inflationary environment not seen since the 1970s – 1980s.

KPMG senior economist Ken Kim will discuss the many drivers of the current rate of inflation, such as:

  • Supply chain disruptions and how long they may persist
  • Ongoing labor shortages and wage pressures
  • The pending Fed rate hikes and whether they will help or derail the expansion

It is estimated that most of today’s workforce has never had to manage through a period of hyper-inflation. Please join us to hear insights on how business leaders might re-evaluate their strategies in these uncommon times.

Kenneth Kim is a Senior Economist at KPMG LLP where he is responsible for running the 700-factor macroeconomic forecasting model for the Office of Chief Economist. Ken brings his depth and knowledge to help KPMG leadership and clients assess the constantly evolving U.S. and international economic environment. Ken engages with corporate board directors and business leaders from numerous industry sectors including banking, industrial manufacturing, insurance, M&A, private equity, and real estate. He is actively involved with KPMG’s Board Leadership Center, CFO Peer Exchange, M&A Roundtable Events, and National Association of Corporate Directors.

One Education Credit for CLE (PA Only), Insurance (PA Only), CFP, CPA (PA Only), PACE and CTFA will be offered.
