"Disability Bootcamp:
Preserving Assets and Protecting Benefits for Disabled Beneficiaries"

Our program will focus on those topics critical to planning for individuals with disabilities. The goal of the discussion will be to give attendees a better of understanding of the range of benefits available to disabled individuals, how clients can preserve assets for disabled individuals without jeopardizing benefits, and how the protected assets can be managed.

Emily Schurr, Esq., from the Begley Law Group, PC, will present an overview on the benefits and eligibility requirements. Michele Leahy, MS, of Leahy Life Plan, will discuss how advocacy on behalf of disabled children provides better outcomes. Scott Camilleri of ACT will focus on how assets can be protected for disabled individuals, as well as alternatives to the traditional Special Needs Trust.  Adam Cohen, Esq., from the Begley Law Group, PC, will moderate the discussion.
