PROGRAM OVERVIEW

"From Garage to Greatness: The Lifecycle of a Qualified Small Business Under Section 1202" follows a founder’s journey from start up through growth and financing rounds ultimately culminating in an exit. It highlights the Section 1202 principles that drive QSBS eligibility, the key decision points that influence whether the exclusion is preserved, and the practical guidance advisors can provide to help founders and early investors maximize long-term, after-tax results.

Attendees will gain insights on One Big Beautiful Bill Act’s 2025 enhancements to Section 1202 that expanded QSBS opportunities for newly issued stock by introducing more flexible, tiered holding-period benefits and higher thresholds which amplify planning potential. The result is a timely, action-oriented roadmap for advisors to entrepreneurial clients on how to capitalize on one of the most powerful tax incentives available.
