The PEPC will participate in an afternoon volunteer shift on Wednesday February 4th from 1:30 - 4:30 p.m. Volunteers help to chop, dice, cook and package meals. A volunteer shift often includes working on a line to package items for a breakfast or lunch meal, or help to prepare and package sandwiches or entrée items.
After our volunteer shift, we will also have a short session with MANNA team members to learn more about the organization, and then have a happy hour at the MANNA facilities.
Please click HERE to register through MANNA's website.
This event is limited to current PEPC members only. Space is limited to 15 volunteers, so register early!

Administered by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils, the Accredited Estate Planner® designation means “I believe in the team concept of estate planning.” Obtaining the designation allows AEPs to distinguish themselves from their peers as a true member of a client's team. If you have a firm commitment to the collaborative approach of estate planning and want to cultivate multi-disciplinary relationships, this could be the professional designation for you.
The AEP designation is awarded only to estate planning professionals who meet special requirements of education, experience, knowledge, professional reputation, and character.
If you are a credentialed professional looking to set yourself apart from the competition, please join this discussion to learn more about what is involved in obtaining the AEP designation.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Private Placement Life Insurance (“PPLI”) is an asset accumulation and distribution vehicle that combines the tax advantages of life insurance with the investment potential of an evergrowing selection of funds and discretionary accounts with customized investment mandates.
Through an educational overview of the mechanics of PPLI, as well as detailed case studies, this course will provide insight on utilizing PPLI as an advanced planning tool within a sophisticated wealth and estate planning context. The presentation will examine the legal, tax, and regulatory framework governing PPLI, including life insurance qualification requirements, diversification rules, investor control considerations, and relevant fiduciary duties. Participants will also explore common structuring approaches, governance and compliance issues, and the interaction of PPLI with trusts and alternative investments.
The program is designed to assist participants in identifying potential issues and risks with a focus on best practices for advising clients on the appropriateness of PPLI relative to their current situation and stated goals. This course is educational in nature and does not promote specific products or providers.
